Multan—Secretary District Regional Transport Authority (DRTA) Kashif Dogar on Friday announced 11 feeder routes which will connect the Multan Metro Bus stations. He said the latest air-conditioned buses would provide transport services to people for metro bus stations.
He said the first route would be from Chowk Kumharanwala metro station to Dera Adda via Rasheedabad, Chungi No 9, Ghanta Ghar, Children Complex Hospital, Nawan Sheher, second route from Sikandri Nala Suraj Miani to Qasim Fort metro station via MDA, Katchery, Ghanta Ghar, Water Works Road and third route from Fertilizer Factory to Ghanta ghar via Hassanabad colony, Chowk Kumharanwala metro station, Masoom Shah Road, Ali Chowk and Qasim Fort had been suggested.
It is pertinent to mention here that tenders for feeder buses is in progress by the Punjab Mass Transit Authority while 100 air-conditioned buses would be plied on these feeders.—APP
